About Kumbhabhishekham  Kumbhabhishekham is part of the consecration ceremony of Hindu temples.  Kumbha means the Head and denotes the Shikhara or Crown of the Temple (usually in the gopuram) and abhishekam is ritual bathing. About Brihadeshwara Temple  Brihadeshwara Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is located in Thanjavur Tamil Nadu at the South bank of Kaveri river.  It is also known as Periya Kovil RajaRajeswara Temple and Rajarajeswaram.  The temple was built between 1003 AD and 1010 AD by the great Chola emperor Raja Raja I.
